1. West-Central Kedah I would call this this place the historical areas of Kedah where its history dated back to the 2nd century. Bujang Valley is an archaeological site in Kedah. Jerai Mountain can be reached from Bujang Valley area. Sungai Mas Archaeological Museum Gunung Jerai Merbok River Cruise	2. Alor Star Northern side of Alor Star : I have decided to put Albukhary Mosque, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial, Traditional Malay House and Kedah State Museum in Northern side of Alor Star. Central Alor Star : Places around Big Clock Building Some places around this area are Balai Besar, Balai Nobat, Kedah's High Court, Zahir Mosque, Big Clock Building, Rumah Merdeka and Alor Star Tower. Southern side of Alor Star : I have decided to put Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad's Birth Place are Police station, Post Office, Alor Star 250 Year Monument, Pekan Rabu and Railway Station.
3. Langkawi Kuah Area Places around this town and shopping area are Eagle Square, Lagenda Park and Dayang Bunting or Pregnant Maiden Island. North-East Langkawi : Some of the places of interst are Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, Gallery Perdana, Wild Life Park and Bird Paradise, Ayer Hangat Village, Black Sand Beach and Langkawi Craft Complex. Central Langkawi has a few places of interest such as Kota Mahsuri, Snake Sanctuary, Ancient Tomb and Raya Mountain where visitors can have a good view of part of Langkawi Island and its surroundings. West Langkawi Northern side of west Langkawi has Langkawi Fall, Ibrahim Hussien Art Muzium, and Crocodile Farm. The southern side of west Langkawi has Field of Burnt Rice, Telaga Habour Park, Oriental Village and Seven Wells Waterfall. South Langkawi has Laman Padi Langkawi which was not impressive. I would say that southern Langkawi has very few places of interest to go unless if you like to try out many different kinds of food and sailing.	4. East Kedah The eastern side of Kedah is the Titiwangsa Range. This makes it an ideal place for nature lovers the explore. Sungai Sedim Recreational Forest is a place for people to go white water rafting, jungle trekking and camping. There is a bridge with information boards for visitors to walk and get a brief knowledge about plants in Malaysia. Ulu Legong Hot Spring is a natural hot spring. This place has 4 pools with temperature around 38^oC to 49^oC. This place is opened 24 hours. Ulu Muda Eco Park is a place near or next to Tasik Muda. To enter this place, visitors should get authorised tour guide and contact the Tourism Malaysia Kedah Office for overnight accommodation.
