Putra Bridge is located along the northern side of Persiaran Perdana. It connects Precinct 1 to Precinct 2. It has a span of 435m and 4 octagonal towers with observation decks. It has an Islamic architecture inspired by Khatu Bridge of Isfahan.
Seri Perdana Bridge is located along Lebuh Perdana Barat. It connects Precinct 8 and 10 to Precinct 1. It has a span of 370m and 8 decorative arches which acts as rest areas or observation decks. It has an Moorish Islamic architecture. Seri Wawasan Bridge is located along Persiaran Barat. It connects Precinct 8 to Precinct 2. It has a span of 240m but no observation decks. It is a cable-stayed bridge and structured steel tie back with its concrete pylon measuring 96.6m. It has a modern look with a 5.1m wide walkway. Seri Wawasan Bridge looks different from most bridges I have seen. I think this is the most beautiful bridge in Putrajaya which has a different looks from different angle. Its mirror axis/plane can be seen from Wawasan Square. Seri Bakti Bridge is located along Lebuh Perdana Selatan. It connects Precinct 1 to Precinct 16. It has a span of 270m with minarets outside the safety railing. It has an Islamic architecture. Therefore, from what I see, I would say that the minarets are not for resting. Seri Bestari Bridge is located along Lebuh Ehsan. It connects Precinct 2 and 18 to Precinct 16. This bridge to me is the most normal looking bridge with no minaret nor pavilion. It is said that it has pre-stressed cables in the ground beams.
Seri Setia Bridge is located along Lebuhraya Wadi Ehsan. It connects Precinct 18 to Precinct 19. I have not gone to see this bridge yet and therefore would not comment on it. Seri Saujana Bridge is located along Lebuh Sentosa. It connects Precinct 8 to Precinct 4. It is said that this bridge is the first in the world to combine the arch and cable-stayed techniques. I have not gone to see this bridge yet and therefore would not comment on it. Seri Gemilang Bridge is located along the southern side of Persiaran Perdana. It connects Precinct 4 to Precinct 5. It has a span of 240m, an Islamic architecture and made of steel. I have not gone to see this bridge yet and therefore would not comment on it. |
