Lok Lok is actually a method of cooking the food to eat. Thin stick is used as skewer to poke through the food like for barbecue. The food is then dipped into boiling water to cook for a short while. When cooked, it is eaten with sauce for lok lok which is mostly 'hot' (chili hot) with grinded nuts.
