Dragon Boat Race 2006 is part of Penang Pesta event which is held yearly. Therefore, most probably, the Penang Pesta Dragon Boat Race will be held yearly too. This year, the race was held in Penang Water Sports Centre in Tanjung Bunga. This race had a few categories - canoe events and dragon boat events. The canoe events, there were men, ladies and mixed events. As for the dragon boat events, there were men and mixed events, mostly 20 people a team. So, those who are interested, can start preparing themselves for next year. It will not be too early to start preparing now as I think Penang will hold other water sports and boating races mid of next year. Lastly, kindly "Keep Penang Clean".		Coming events - see you there
