Waterfall Dam is located in Botanical Gardens. The source of the water is from a waterfall which is quite near to the dam. The photos here were taken near the waterfall and waterfall dam. The first row photo was the highest part of the waterfall that could be taken. The left second row photo shows the waterfall in the background with Sylvia (Friends of Penang Botanical Gardens people) and me in the foreground. When I took this photo, she was a university students during her semester break. If you are interested to know more about Friends of Penang Botanical Gardens or plants, maybe you can email her. The right second row photo was taken from the place where Sylvia and I were standing. The place is just about 10 meters away. It shows a rest place and a river flowing from the waterfall. The left last row photo shows the water processing construct on the foreground and the dam on the left background. So, it is quite obvious that the dam is very small. The right last row photo shows the dam. I had no place to stand to take the whole of the small dam. Penang Waterfall Dam is not opened to public. I got in because Friends of Penang Botanical Gardens had a few guided tour for public during the Penang International Floral Festival 2007. Penang International Floral Festival 2006 did not have such tours if not mistaken. For such guided tour, you have to watch out for advertisements. Sometimes Friends of Penang Botanical Gardens do organise such things.		Coming events - none
