The right second row photo shows parents teaching the children to play 'cit-cit chom'. The left third row photo shows stage show performers in their costumes. The right third row photo shows puppet show on stage opposite the temple. This temple was built in the mid 19th century. It was given an Award of Merit for Restoration in 2006 by the UNESCO Asia Pacific Heritage for Culture and Heritage Conservation group. If you look at the roof of the temple, I think it still maintained its sort of 'old and used' look for a recently restored temple. So, do drop by this temple. I guess very few people knew about this temple. The temple should be opened for prayers at 0830 hrs and closed at 1730 hrs. |
