Penang Roti Babi (Chinese)
Roti Babi means pork bread. It is actually bread stuffed with ingredients like small pieces of minced pork, potatos and onions. This stuffed bread is then dipped into beaten-egg and then coated with a kind of 'crumb'. Then it is deep fried until it looks golden brown. It is served with sliced onion and pork sauce. 
One plate of this food is normally RM3.00 to RM3.50 (year 2013 price). This can consider quite special because it is not easily found. It can be bought in the morning opposite the Pulau Tikus police station. |
