Penang Nasi Lemak
Nasi Lemak is a Malay food served / packed with banana leaf. The rice is cooked with 'santan' or coconut milk then served with fried ikan bilis / anchovies and half hard-boiled egg. It is then topped with some curry. 
Now, it has other versions with fried fish added to it (3-in-1 version) or just fried fish with hard-boiled egg or some with prawns. Whatever is added, it should not cost more than RM1.50 per packet (year 2013 price). This is the only one food that is prepacked and sold to coffee shops and stalls for sale. |
