Penang Capati (Indian)
Capati is made of wheat flour kneaded and pressed into a flat thin layer. Then it cooked on a hot pan. Capati is served with a curry-potato sause, I guess. The photo shows the mutton soup on the top left hand side. The top right hand side is the sauce.
This dish or food is usually sold in Indian coffee shops. I think it is not easy to find in Penang, so I think it is quite special. One piece is about RM0.70 (year 2013 price). Capati stalls usually sell mutton soup too. One bowl of soup is about RM2.50 to RM3.00 (year 2013 price)
