Batu Burok Beach is a popular local beach area. It is situated somewhere between the Batu Bersurat Roundabout and the Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque.

I took the heritage bus C-01 and stopped at Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque. This bus passes through the Batu Bersurat Roundabout and Batu Burok Beach.

Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque was built in 1994. It is also called the Floating Mosque because it was built on the mouth of Ibai River and when the tide rises it look like the mosque is floating. Surrounding this mosque is a park with a children's playground.

There is also a restaurant. However, I think it was operating anymore. There were shop lots selling souvenirs and a toilet which was very clean and beautiful inside.

After visiting the floating mosque, I took a bus back towards town but stopped at the Batu Bersurat Roundabout because I wanted to take some photographs of it. Then, I decided to walk towards the Kuala Terengganu State Stadium. This stadium is just opposite the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital and the Kuala Terengganu Swimming Complex. Along the way I passed by a mosque called Al-Muktafi Billah Shah Mosque.

Batu Burok Beach's beautiful, long and wide beach stretches from near the mosque to Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque. I decided to take my lunch at an A & W restaurant there. Then I walked back all the way to Shahbandar Square.

Lastly, if you were to visit any where in Tereangganu, kindly keep the places clean by throwing your rubbish into rubbish bins.
