Kuala Pa'Amat Beach is situated about 2 km from Sabak Beach. It is important because it was the first place that the Japanese soldiers landed when they invaded Malaya.

However, the villages in Sabak Beach said that the Peace Monument near the beach had sunk into the sea. It cannot be seen most of the time except when it is very low tide. They told me it was somewhere near the airport area.

There was one women from the village where I waited for the bus told me that there is a war memorial in the town near the airport. It looks like a Pill Box to me. There is a wooden board saying World War II Memorial Monument.

However, there is a monument near the WWII Memorial Monument. The local women who told me about the WWII Memorial Monument said the 'Clock Tower' is not a monument. Anyway, the 'Clock Tower' says 'May The Clock Strike The Time For Everlasting Peace and Liberty'. Where's the clock?

I was rather disappointed. When I went to tell the lady at Tourism Malaysia's Information Centre near Handicraft Village, she did not know. She said she was new staff and I really believe her. Why there was nobody else except a new staff? She was alone when I went in the morning and was alone when I went in the afternoon. Lastly, kindly help keep Kelantan clean by throwing your rubbish into proper places.
